Traditional Chinese culture is governed by the lunar calendar and there is a special date coming up for one fo the ancestral celebrations. On the 15th day of the 8th lunar month (September 13th, 2019 in the Gregorian calendar this year), friends and family all over the world will gather to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival. The festivities are also known as the Moon Festival and it is customary to gift and eat delicious mooncakes. It is a time to worship the full moon, symbolic of rejuvenation, reunion and gathering, and to make wishes of happiness and good fortune as we bask in its soft glow.

In honor of this meaningful tradition that has been preserved in the culture, A BATHING APE® will be releasing its first ever Mid-Autumn Festival collection of tees. Embrace the moon, the happiness, and the community while bearing BAPE® street fashion style in this range of limited-edition designs.
