NEW YORK – A BATHING APE® is ready to celebrate the BAPE STORE® NEW YORK SOHO 17TH Anniversary. To commemorate the occasion of one of BAPE®’s most famous locations, a special capsule collection will be launched in-store on Saturday December 18th.
The limited capsule includes two commemorative T-shirts. The first shirt utilizes a classic design, mixing the iconic NEW YORK APE HEAD on the front with A BATHING APE spelled out below, while the back features a large APE HEAD with the number “17” inside a word bubble, marking the store’s long history. Available in white with green or blue graphics and black with red or purple graphics, the T-shirt is a must have for any longtime BAPE® fan. The second shirt, also available in white and black, combines a variety of BAPE® design motifs in an ode to NEW YORK – the iconic STATM patterned across a large APE HEAD, joined by multiple BABY MILO® characters climbing an APE HEAD adorned version of the Statue of Liberty.
