BAPE® announces the launch of its newest line of sneakers, the SHARK STA, in honor of the 20th anniversary of the brand’s iconic SHARK FULL ZIP HOODIE.

Since its launch in 2004, the SHARK FULL ZIP HOODIE has established itself as a cultural fashion icon, capturing the attention of musicians, artists, celebrities and creatives alike. BAPE® honors the SHARK FULL ZIP HOODIE’s evolution and cultural impact with the launch of its newest footwear silhouette, the SHARK STA, alongside new customizable SHARK FULL ZIP HOODIE styles, available in the U.S. starting October 5th

BAPE® SHARK STA is the brand’s first footwear product inspired by its own apparel, designed to complement a full toe-to-head look. The BAPE® SHARK STA is infused with the same craftsmanship and quality as the SHARK FULL ZIP HOODIE, with key details including a shark teeth overlay, a prominent midsole STA, gill-inspired branded arch, and a chunky outer sole with a wave pattern. The 20th anniversary iteration of the SHARK FULL ZIP HOODIE will feature customizable patches to add a personal touch to the brand’s signature style, available exclusively in-store only for the U.S. The launch collection of the SHARK STA and the SHARK FULL ZIP HOODIE are inspired by countries around the world and the pack is an invitation to be a part of the forward momentum of culture every time you put them on.
