Renowned for its iconic camo pattern and innovative approach to fashion, BAPE® continues to push boundaries and captivate audiences with its creativity and authenticity.

Alpha Industries, established in 1959, has been a pioneer in producing high-quality, functional military-inspired apparel. The brand's iconic MA-1 flight jacket has become a staple in contemporary fashion and continues to influence streetwear trends worldwide. Known for their commitment to craftsmanship and timeless designs, Alpha Industries has solidified its position as a leader in the industry.

This time, BAPE® and Alpha Industries have joined force to reimagine streetwear and military style with traditional Japanese craftsmanship.

The Reversible Kimono Jacket and classic MA-1 Jacket are the standout pieces of the BAPE® x Alpha Industries collaboration. These items are crafted to pay tribute to Sashiko, a form of decorative reinforcement stitching (or functional embroidery) from Japan, reimagining both style and aesthetic. Designed with inspirations from Ukiyo-e, a genre of Japanese art that flourished from the 17th through 19th centuries, the back prints on both Kimono Jacket and MA-1 Jacket are beautifully embroidered with graphics of BAPE®’s iconic motifs, ensuring the archival touch. The union of function and fashion that pervades the whole collection is exemplified in the jackets.
